Brent Mathieson receives the 2021 HorticultureNZ Industry Service award.

 

Each year at the HortNZ annual conference, awards are given out to a very few who have excelled in some way within the horticulture industry. For this award, HortNZ members can nominate those with a long and dedicated service in a supplier or service role, that have worked beyond the call of duty for the betterment of the horticulture industry. Brent Mathieson from Lefroy Valley NZ received multiple nominations for the 2021 Industry Service award.

$190 MILLION TO THE MYALUP-WELLINGTON WATER FOR FOOD PROJECT

May 17, 2018

The Turnbull Government recently announced in its delivery of $5.4 billion dollars of infrastructure development for Western Australia that up to $140 million will be provided towards the Myalup-Wellington Dam Project, together with a concesssional loan of up to $50 million.

LEFROY VALLEY NZ ON THE MOVE

August 14, 2017

 

After 18 years being on Manukau Road In Pukekohe, Lefroy Valley NZ has moved to larger and easier to access premises located at 94 John Street, Pukekohe.

 

Since opening in 1990, this is only the 3rd move - each time to bigger and better premises. The move has enabled Lefroy Valley to bring products into one building from other locations around Pukekohe, and then into a purpose built, fully controlled temperature and humidity environments.

WATER PROJECT GOES AHEAD

January 15, 2017

 

Myalup Wellington Water Corporation Pty Ltd, trading as Collie Water, today welcomed the State Government announcement that the state would provide the Myalup-Wellington Water Project with $37 million of funding.

Collie Water is a special purpose vehicle established by Pendulum Capital Pty Ltd led by Aqua Ferre Pty Ltd. Aqua Ferre joined forced with Harvey Water in developing an industry led solution to the water quality problems in the Wellington Dam and the Myalup irrigated agricultural precinct.
